CHRISTMAS!!!

So, apparently the tree that randomly appeared in the living room and all of those boxes underneath were in preparation of some big festive day that can best be described in one word ... UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Is it possible to wear/play with all my gifts at the same time?

December 20, 2008 - HUGE DAY!

Other than May 20th, my favorite day of the year is December 20th. In 2008, the hype and build-up was big, but the day lived up to my lofty expectations.

First, of course, it was my 7-month birthday. Yay me!

Then, on top of being Grandma and Grandpa Lees' anniversary (35 years), the 5th anniversary of the day dad proposed to mommy, and the one year anniversary of the day my parents found out I was girl, ARIZONA PLAYED IN ITS FIRST BOWL GAME IN 10 YEARS (and they won)!!!

I'm loving that Mom now only works part-time. More time for the girls to roll around town!

Sometimes it gets cold in San Diego. It probably reaches the low 50s in the middle of the winter...

Thanksgiving 2008 in Vegas

I was so excited about this new holiday called "Thanksgiving." My parents told me that Grandma Matulis was preparing two 17-pound turkeys for everyone to eat. Since I also weigh close to 17 pounds, I stayed clear of the kitchen so to ensure that I was not mistakenly stuffed and eaten.

Lots and lots of family members were there (not all made the pictures).

Even though I didn't get to have any of the turkey dinner, I got to lounge on a HUGE couch and pretend I was stuffed...

6 Months Old

Finally! Now when people ask me how old I am, I don't have to say zero anymore because today I am one-half!You might not be able to tell but my parents took these pictures at 6:45am. They should know that BIG smiles don't happen very often at 6:45am. But, I did my best!

Actually, I don't care that it is 6:45am, it's my first half-birthday! Let's party!
